At Samares School, we have a high focus on transition. Our staff team build positive relationships to help children feel settled into their new environment. 

To help children when moving into new classes, we have flyers for each year group to say who their teachers are and the other adults working in the class. There are photos of the classroom and other important areas, for example where children put their coats/bags or where the toilets are.
